Non-Lucrative Visa requirements in Spain
You need more than enough money in the bank. Your application must show that you meet the personal, financial and insurance requirements for residence in Spain.

Financial means
The current reference for 2026 is €28,800 per year for the main applicant and an additional €7,200 per year for each family member included in the application.
These funds may come from a pension, savings, investments, rental income or other documented sources. The origin, availability and presentation of the money can influence how the consulate assesses it.

Private health insurance
You need private health insurance valid in Spain and suitable for a residence application. A travel policy or a plan with unsuitable limitations may not meet the consular requirement.
We check what your insurance certificate needs to show before it is added to your application.

Personal and consular requirements
You must hold a valid passport and provide the required medical certificate, criminal record certificate and evidence that you legally reside within the area covered by your Spanish consulate.
Some foreign documents also need a sworn translation, apostille or legalisation. We identify these requirements early so you can prepare them in the correct order.

Advisors Costa Blanca is led by Yannelsis Soto Peña, a gestora administrativa specialised in immigration through the Universidad Católica de Valencia.
Yannelsis moved from the Dominican Republic to Spain at fifteen and later went through the residency process herself. That experience shaped the way the team works today, with clear explanations, careful preparation and honest advice about what each case needs.
She has been managing Advisors Costa Blanca since 2019, helping international clients establish their residence and organise their lives in Spain.

Can I work remotely with a Non-Lucrative Visa?
